The river fishing in Kamchatka
Fishing can be arranged in the area of the camp or with movements along the river, from the riverside or from the boat. There are 2-3 fishermen on a boat. They travel with a boat all time. The guide who accompanies the group will help you to find the best places for catching. You can catch a fish from the bank of the river or from the boat. Catching fish in according fishing license will be used for cooking in the camp or for salting or smoking.
There are large camping tents with full-length of person for accommodation two people (1+1) in the camp. Also, there are smaller tents separately standing with double, triple or quadruple accommodation (at option). We will sleep on the camp bed with a sleeping bag.
There are kitchen and dining area in the camp. A home-set table and attentive staff will make rest after fishing.
A cook will get travelers tasty and hot meal and cook a dish of caught fish and, of course, pancake with caviar!
The camp is equipped with electric generator for lighting and charging of video and photographic equipment. Portable radio transmitter provides radio communication between group (boat) and camp. The territory locates in the area of mobile connection and there is possibility to access Internet.
There is a bath house (steam room) with real stove-heater and brooms. There is a pit toilet.
When is the best time for fishing in Kamchatka?
Depending on time different fishes swim into the rivers of Kamchatka:
Chinook salmon, King salmon – average size is 73-85 centimeters and weight is 7-9 kilograms. Best time is from 5th of June to 30rd of July.
Mikizha - average size is 40-55 centimeters and weight is 1,5-2,0 kg. Season of catching is all year around.
Chum salmon – average size is 65-70 cm and weight is 3,5-5,0 kg. Best time is from the 15th of July to the 15th of August.
Silver salmon - average size is 50-70 cm and weight is 3,0-4,0 kg. Best time is from the 25th of August to the 15th of October.
Brook trout, malma trout - average size is 30-40 cm and weight is 0,5-1 kg. Season of catching is all year around.
Salmon trout - average size is 40 cm and weight is 0,8-1,2 kg. Best time is from the 15th of Many to the 20th of July.
Grayling - average size is 25-40cm and weight is 0,3-0,8 kg. Season of catching is all year around.
Hunchback salmon - average size is 35-50cm and weight is 1,4-2,3kg. Best time is from the 15th of July to the 20nd of August.
Blueback salmon - average size is 65-70cm and weight is 3,5-4,5 kg. Best time is from the 15th of June to the 15th of September.
Kundscha - average size is 35-50 cm and weight is 1,4-2,3kg. Season of catching is all year around.
