Kamchatka — not an easy region for travelling. Before travelling, you need to prepare your equipment and protect yourself with travel insurance. It can be issued in any insurance company. To do it correctly, pay attention to several important points:

Check the basic conditions

The insurance should cover emergency evacuation of the tourist from any point of the route to the nearest doctor or hospital (preferably by helicopter) and medical assistance itself. Of course, they usually do not come in handy, you should not be frightened of Kamchatka. These are the basic terms of insurance.

Add «outdoor activities»

Even if you have chosen the easiest tour without climbing, standard insurance will not cover the entire programme. In some companies, even fishing and swimming in the pool fall under the category of active travelling.

Check the insurance options against the tour programme

For our tours, the policy usually includes trekking, mountain trekking, rafting, cave, volcano and waterfall excursions. Depending on the chosen programme, add other options such as:

• surfing,
• diving,
• skiing / snowboarding,
• off-road jeep rides,
• boating, kayaking, canoeing.
